Blake Jennings (Bass-Baritone and TikTok Influencer)

Blake Jennings, bass-baritone, is a native of Longview, Texas. Mr. Jennings is a recent graduate of the Boston University Opera Institute. Recent Engagements include Nick Shadow (The Rake’s Progress) The Badger/Pastor (Cunning Little Vixen) and Dottore Grenvil (La Traviata) with BU Opera, Don Alfonso (Cosi fan tutte) The Prophet (Dark Sisters) and Falstaff (Die Lustigen Weiber von Windsor) with Boston Conservatory Opera, and Luther and cover for Crespel (Tales of Hoffmann) and cover for Don Basilio (Il Barbiere di Siviglia) with Opera North. Mr. Jennings has also worked with companies such as Chautauqua Opera, Central City Opera, Boston Lyric Opera, Fort Worth Opera, and Opera Company of Middlebury. Next summer Mr. Jennings will join Opera Saratoga as a Young Artist. Mr. Jennings earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance at Texas Christian University and a Master of Music in Opera Performance from The Boston Conservatory. Mr. Jennings is a student of Penelope Bitzas.
