Hi!  I’m Katie Crim. I’m a student, flutist and aspiring conductor from Texas. I’m currently a Senior at Oklahoma City University where I’m pursuing a degree in flute performance, with additional studies in piano and vocal coaching. I hope to work in professional opera someday as a conductor and vocal coach.

I am passionate about the arts...musical, theater, visual, culinary arts, and the written word. I love to travel. I have been fortunate to visit and perform in some of the world’s great cities and I can’t wait to resume my adventures when the current pandemic passes.

Having a blog and podcast has been a goal of mine, so I made KC Curious a “Covidtide” project.  I LOVE meeting interesting people and hearing their stories, and I hope my thoughts on becoming and being a college student helps other young people, or at least gives them something to think about.

In future posts and episodes I plan to write on a wide range of topics and interview people who are creating and innovating in the arts.  If you have a topic you think I should explore or an interesting person I should interview, let me know!
